"Was kind of skeptical because of the lack of reviews but I assume it’s a new spot. I ordered brown stew snapper and it was SOOOOO GOOD, very well seasoned & spicy like I like it! The price wasn’t bad at all which surprised me! They didn’t make the fish in bulk and have it sitting there all day getting dried out like most restaurants which is a DEFINITE PLUS! My sister had the stew chicken & she said it was amazing. The cashier was sweet & friendly as well. 10 out of 10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

"I went to Rock Island for the first time last night 12/30, after reading the reviews. First, the lady behind the counter was very pleasant and professional. She greeted me and assured me she would be right with me. (I liked and appreciated that). I ordered a large chicken soup, which was very tasty, and I decided to order some fried chicken (based on the raving reviews). Let me tell you....I don't know what they seasoned that chicken with, all I know is, it was on point! I will definitely be back, as I really need to try the other foods on their menu."

"Ordered on uber eats and my meal was delicious, I called the store to make sure they had pig tails in their stew pease before I made my order and lady that answered the phone was very empathetic"

"Stopped by for a quick dinner and was impressed. Staff greeted us warmly and moved efficiently-no waiting, but not rushed. The food tasted homemade: bold spices, fresh ingredients, generous portions. The room felt unpretentious and lively, with mismatched chairs and upbeat chatter. Prices are pleasantly low, great value for what you get. Would come again for a reliable, tasty meal without breaking the bank."
